darlene anita scott is a poet and visual artist. Her photography has recently appeared in Barren Magazine and Auburn Avenue. Her art has been featured in The Journal and at the Girl Museum a virtual exhibit celebrating girls and girlhood. Her poetry has most recently appeared in Furious Flower; Seeding the Future of African American Poetry, and Revisiting the Elegy in the Black Lives Matter Era, a volume she coedited with Drs. Emily Rutter and Sequoia Maner and the late Dr. Tiffany Austin. scott lives in Virginia.
